It’s that time of year again when we support the ‘Lap of Louth’ charity cycle. The cycle this year is supporting two charities. The North Louth Hospice and SOSAD. The hospice is a fantastic hands on charity that arranges transport for treatment and sometimes care for cancer patients who cannot provide for themselves. As all the cancer treatments are carried out in Drogheda and Dublin , North Louth patients desperately need the hospice. Sosad Ireland is an Irish suicide prevention and bereavement support charity. Unfortunately in modern Irish society we all know of someone affected by suicide and that bereavement support can be very important too. Unfortunately in PCLA we cant support every charity but when we do we hope it makes a difference.
